We Have a Dream for Hough: How E. 66th Street Improvements are Not Just a Streetscape Plan!

You are an important part of this community. As such, we would like to hear from you.

We are working to improve the E. 66th Street Corridor through a Transportation for Livable Communities Initiative. As you know, E. 66th is a significant street in the Hough neighborhood. From League Park to the Fatima Family Center, Chateau Hough to the many historic churches along E. 66th, institutions and businesses in this corridor have served the community for years. With its roots as an old trolley line, it makes sense that E. 66th Street is an important transportation corridor.

Exciting new things are happening on E66th Street. In the next few years, The Cleveland Foundation is moving its headquarters from downtown to E. 66th Street and Euclid Avenue. Birthing Beautiful Communities continues to serve mothers and babies in Hough. The Hough branch of the Cleveland Public Library will move to Lexington and E. 66th. The community is growing! And we want to hear visions for these improvements from you!

The project team is hosting a public meeting this Friday via Zoom called “Kitchen Table Conversations”, where we will hear from all members of the Hough family: youth, elders, residents, stakeholders, mothers, fathers and others about your dreams for Hough and your feedback on design concepts.

We welcome you this Friday, June 5 from 5:30-7:00 PM using Zoom. Please use the link http://tiny.cc/E66-kitchen to join. See you then!
